Works Progressing At St Giles Court Hull
Works at our St Giles Court project in Hull for Hull Churches Housing Association are progressing well, with the scheme currently running ahead of programme and key milestones being achieved across both the external and internal elements of the build. This continued progress is a reflection of strong coordination between our site team, supply chain and client, ensuring that works are being delivered efficiently and in line with expectations.
Externally, final roofing works to the new extensions are being completed this week, bringing these areas close to full weather-tight status. Alongside this, installation of the external doors and windows is underway, helping to secure the building envelope and allow internal works to progress without disruption from the elements. These stages are critical in maintaining programme momentum, particularly as we transition further into internal fit-out.
Internally, the project is taking shape with studwork now completed throughout the new and reconfigured spaces. This has created a clear layout for the upgraded communal and office areas, giving a strong sense of the final environment. With these partitions in place, our M&E first fix is now underway. Electricians are already on site progressing containment and cabling, with mechanical works scheduled to begin next week. This coordinated approach ensures services are installed efficiently ahead of second fix and finishing stages.
This project represents a meaningful investment into improving existing facilities, extending and repurposing Hull Churches Housing Association’s communal and office space into a larger, more modern and functional environment.
